Changing Your Contact Information on the Website
Two of the many benefits of being a C36/C375 IA member are that you receive items like Mainsheet Magazine and our electronic newsletter, JibSheet. However, I’m sure you can appreciate the challenges in keeping both a snail mail and email address database up to date for almost 700 members. It would be easy if we all stayed in one place, but the reality is that we often change home ports.
C36/375IA Forums
This site contains a set of forums where you can discuss topics, including cruising, maintenance, buying or selling a C36 or C375, and many more.
To enter the forums, use this link: http://www.c36ia.com/forums.
If you are logged into this web site, then you should not have to log in again for the forums.
The old message board is no longer accessible. Alas, technology has moved us beyond the cost-effective recovery of that data, but we now have a bank of nearly 4,000 postings on the new Forum, with over 180 active participants, and we trust that this new Forum resource will be able to provide the answers you need in a timely manner.
Along with the Forum resource, we frequently add articles to the Upgrades and Maintenance sections of the website, under the Technical tab. Sometimes we also temporarily "park" these on our home page or in the JibSheet, where they are accessable to all, at least for a while; but our vast library of Upgrades and Maintenance articles is accessable by C36/375IA Members only. (Remember, a C36/375IA Member - uppercase M - is different than a member - lowercase m - of the Forum. To be a C36/375IA Member you must subscribe and pay dues.)
C36/375IA E-Mail Mailing List
Here it is: our own C36/375 mailing list -- providing contact with other C36 and 375 owners and support for their questions. And now, with our own maillist, we don't have to worry about list providers going out of business, copyrighting our messages, or charging fees for this valuable community service.
Submitting Content
It was suggested by Bruce Landsberg that a method of submitting "upgrade" articles be placed on this site. He's absolutely right, and we have expanded the idea for submitting, well, pretty much anything. Here goes...
