Subject: [C36IA] Maxwell freedom 800 -Pressure arm replacement kit
The diagram in the owners manual and the diagram that came with the part
show that the arm is positioned aft of the axel,I think that is what is
called. I am attaching 2 pictures of the disassembled windlass. On the
left side of the photo there appears to be a hole to insert the pin but
this is forward of the axel. Any help would be appreciated.
When I did this 5 years ago the old pressure arm was still in place so I
could see where it went. Unfortunately this time I found it in the
anchor locker.
When I called Maxwell for the replacement kit I was instructed to get it
from WM. FYI the WM # is 2495349. Bill Miller tells me that it is also
available at Defender.
Bill
