Phil,  REgarding your orgininal post on LED Replacements; I saw that Laura provided a Google search and that may do the trick.  I have had really good luck with www.Mastlight.com,  The owner is a former sailer and his website is a great resource and tutorial for finding the right replacement bulbs.  He has all the festoon lights for the steaming light and running lights as well as the halogen replacments.  I have all LEDs on the boat, even the old reading lights below and my energy consumption is greatly reduced.  If you get confused, just call him - I think his name is Nigel and he is a regular at the big boat shoes as well as in Latitudes and Attitudes.  His all around anchor lights are $25.00 - nearly half of what you see at West Marine.  Another surce for auto bulbs ( the 1157s etc) is www.superbrightled.com .  I puchased the rading light relacement bulbs for my interior (original fixtures) from thm at less than $10.00 per light.

Another good find for others out there, is the LED dome lights from Catalina Direct, they have 7 white and 5 red LEDS and make good replacments for thinlight flor. under the galley and in the head.  The light is not super bright but works great in those locations.   I will also be installing one over the aft hanging locker for added light in the aft cabin.  At $24.95 you cannot beat the price. www.catalinadirect.com.

Hope this helps, Regards, Mark

My deck/steaming light broke off a couple of years ago, and I have yet to replace it.  I've been working with LED lanterns and headlamps, and it's not been ideal.  But does anyone have an LED alternative?  As long as I'm replacing it, I'd love to save the amps.

Any suggestions on a source for a replacement bulb for my deck light?  It's is halogen #56110 and West. Defender and a general Internet search have turned up nothing.
