[C36IA] Raymarine RL70C+ donut

Yeah, tweaked and tuned virtually everything control on the unit, but
nothing seems to remove the donut. I did notice that I now need to
adjust the gain up to about 80 to see anything on the screen. The auto
setting on the gain doesn't seem to work like it used to.

I have a similar unit but it seems to work fine. I would be interested
to know what you find out. Have you changed any of the tuning settings?

Our radar unit seems to have developed a strange donut in the center of
its scans. (See attached image) The donut grows as we zoom in. Thinking
it might be caused by dirt or condensation, I removed the cover of the
radome and found everything inside and out to be clean and dry.
Before I send this off to the good folks at Raymarine, I was wondering
if any of the good folks here have seen this and might know what the
cause is.
