I just changed my batteries this past weekend after 6 years. Went the inexpensive way -Costco Marine Deep Cycle - $54.00. If I can get six years out of any deep cell I'm Happy. I got 4 years on two in my travel trailer but they do not stay charged like the boat.

Can anyone explain to me what cold cranking amps and reserve capacity at 25 amps mean? I am looking for Amp hours which make sense to me.
We want to install new batteries yesterday and they were the wrong kind. Not marine and not deep cycle.
Any thoughts on gel batteries vrs wet cell?
