Why do all boat manufacturers put the connections on the stern when 99% 
of sailors go into their slips bow in?

My dealer added a separate connection in the anchor locker when the boat 
was delivered.   He puts it standard on all of his boats.   Yes, he 
installs it correctly with a proper selector switch.   It is really 
handy with a short power line hook up.
