[C36IA] can anyone

The real (abreviated) story.

Symptoms: engine overheated after only 10 minutes of moderate running.

Suspected Resolution:  thermostat, impeller, clogged heat exchanger,  
plugged raw water intake/strainer.

Findings:

Impeller fine. Water spitting out exhaust at normal levels.
Thermostat fine.
Heat Exchanger (HE) had a little corrosion but still functional.   
Removed and flushed both systems with hose.
Coollant level in cockpit locker fine.
Coolant in engine empty!
Corrosion where coolant returns to engine after leaving HE. Coolant  
leak at this location.  Replaced hose. Will need new manifold in a few  
years.
Small hole where coolant enters at 'radiator' cap plugged. Cleaned  
with wire and BP Blaster.

Put the coolant system back together and started engine. Ran fine but  
found pinhole leak in HE.

Covered hole with rubber 'patch' held by hose clamps. Very short term  
fix.

Plan: buy new HE, tear it all apart again, install new HE.
