Chuck,
Another thing you could try is to take apart the raw water side of the cooling system (you won't lose any antifreeze), and look for obstructions. The most common would be parts of old impellers. They get caught in bends and nipples. Start at the water intake and go from there. It sounds like you have SOME cooling, just not enough.

I know this has been discussed in the past, and I would like some ideas as to what I need to do.
My engine runs at 200 to 210 at 1800 - 2000 rpms. It will overheat if I attempt 2200 rpms.
I have cleaned the heat exchanger, put a new fresh water pump on the engine, and a new impeller in the raw water pump. Any ideas of what to do next?
