This check list was develop to help me remember what I did each year to get the boat ready for the winter. The following are some things to remember about this list:
· Each boat is different. Changes done at the factory, by boat yards and/or owners may change what is said here.
· Each system can be done in any sequence. The sequence I have documented attempts to minimize the amount of supplies needed
· I have done this work with the boat both in & out of the water. If done in the water, be sure you check that values are closed before you remove a hose.
· You should understand your onboard systems before you do an activity on this list. If you are unsure about what you are doing, have someone help you, ask more questions, or have a boat yard do the work.
· This list is for a 1997 Catalina 36 MkII with a Universal M35AC engine, but it can be modified for the MkI and other boats.
· Please feel free to distribute this document to anyone who may need it.
· This is not a complete list of everything which need to be done to store the boat for the winter e.g. covering the boat.
