Catalina 36 International Association

Here it is: our own C36 mailing list -- providing contact with other C36 owners, support for C36 questions. And now, with our own maillist, we don't have to worry about list providers going out of business, copyrighting our messages, or charging fees for this valuable community service.

Subscribing

To subscribe to the list, send an e-mail to majordomo@catalina36.org, with the text "subscribe c36list" (without quotes) in the message body. You can leave the subject blank. If you're confused, see the attachment below for an illustration.

Using the Mailing List

To start a new discussion thread, send e-mail to c36list@catalina36.org

Messages from the list will have a prefix of [C36IA] in the subject line. This helps you distinguish list mail from personal mail, or set up rules in your mail program to automatically file list mail in a folder. To reply to a message, simply reply the way you would to any message, and our mailing list will broadcast it to all subscribers.

Unsubscribing
If you buy a bigger boat, or want to unsubscribe, send an e-mail to majordomo@catalina36.org, with the text "unsubscribe c36list" (without quotes) in the message body. You can leave the subject blank.

IMPORTANT NOTE:
A number of C36IA List Subscribers have had problems receiving email from the list server into their Comcast email accounts. Comcast will not admit it, but it appears that their spam filter is blocking all or most of the emails from [C36IA]. A resolution to the problem that has worked for several subscribers has been to set up a free email account with a service such as GMail, AOL, or Hotmail. If you want, you can then set up the free account to forward your mail to your comcast account.
