Ocean Equipment Engine Pod Schematic (early C36 Mk II)

This is a schematic for putting the engine instrument panel gauges and controls from the earlier Mark II's into the Ocean Equipment EP162 NavPod that was used on the later model Mark IIs and some other Catalina models.

I'm not sure when they changed to the newer NavPod, but I think it was probably around 1999. Perhaps another owner of a model from that vintage would be able to help pin that down?

This wiring diagram is for a 1995 Mark II but I believe it is mostly the same for all Mark IIs, though the ones with the M35B are slightly different. It should be applicable to any Mark II that has the old style flat control panel that was mounted on the binnacle below the wheel and which is not visible when standing at the helm.

The Mark I wiring would be different, the Mark 1.5's with M35A would likely be the same as this diagram on the engine side at least.
