Hi All:
I am looking for the LP measurements for a C36 standard rig 135% genoa and a 155% genoa. Thanks very much for your help.

Hi Tom, The official fore- triangle measurements by Catalina for the Std Rig is
I 44.75'
J 14.33'
P 39.00' and the boom, E is 12.00'
If you are getting a new sails made, you should have the loft come out and measure your Max Luff measurement with the mast up. The finished luff will be at least 6-9" less than the 44.75 spec.
For the 135 Genoa, the J will be 1.35 X 14.33' = 19.35'
For the 155 Genoa, the J will be 1.55 X 14.33 = 22.21'
You can also go to Sailrite.com and unload their kit measurements for your boat. They show the following for a 150 genoa
Luff 44.64'
Foot 23.15'
Leech 41.98"
Area 479.9 ft2 I assume the luff measurement dous not take into account the furler.
Three years back I had a new Genoa made by UK Detroit. They came and measured the tack, looked at stanchion clearance and made the following sail for my boat, which has the Tall Rig with an I measurement of 46.75ft
UK Detroit 135 Genoa
LU , tip to tip Luff or thimble to thimble 44.75'
LE, luff cloth measurement 44.0' has a 6" long fabric loop at thr base
Foot 19.9' includes metal ring
LP 19.3" calculates as a 134.68 Genoa
401 ft2
With this luff measurement I still have 6" space at the top, thinking of putting on a 6" wire extender to give better visibility

Hello Jack:
Thanks for the info. The LP is required to determine the width of the suncover panels for the foot and leech on the genoa. I am using the calculations from Sailrite and this is one of the numbers they require. I will check to see if Sailrite has the LP measurements in their sail database. Take care.

Tom, You could probably draw the sail to scale on paper and measure the LP, which is the perpendicular distance from the clew to the luff.
