Well, no one has broken the ice here yet, so I will be the first to wish you all a Merry Christmas and Happy, healthy and prosperous new year.

I also hope that in the current economic turmoil we keep an eye on the barometer for signs of a deepening low.
That none of us are forced to negotiate the straights of destitution, find ourselves tacking away from the lee shore of poverty, runninig up on empty pocket shoals or running bare polled before a force 10 depression.
