The new JibSheet has been published. Just click on the JibSheet tab from the C36IA homepage at http://www.c36ia.com, and it will be the top JibSheet in the list.
Special thanks to story contributors Mike Siegfried, Keith Karlan, and Chic Lasser. Your sharing your technical experiences and knowledge with all of us is what forms the heart of this publication. Thanks also to Duane Ising, our new JibSheet Editor, for the hours of hard work!
Your Catalina 36 International Association is a group of Catalina 36 owners, all volunteers, working to help the entire C36 community.

Thanks for posting the JibSheet and that nice message, Larry. I was going to add a post thanking the article contributors, but you beat me to it.
This is really a great association and I hope more C36/C375 owners will join in.

Steve Frost alerted me to the fact that non-Members (or anyone not signed in to the website's homepage) are unable to view our JibSheet archive page. I have asked our webmaster to remove the Members-only protection from the JibSheet Tab so that the JibSheets will be viewable by all of our visitors, whether Members (capital M) or not.
Actually, there's a lot of stuff, even on our homepage, that non-Members (capital M) cannot see. This is by intent to some degree, as the Value offered by our organization deserves to accessible primarily to our paid-up Members. That's how we cover our costs.
But we do want JibSheet to be viewable by all. Please be patient and all will be well, soon.

Thanks, but let's all keep in mind that despite the time and effort by the editor, it is the CONTENT supplied by our members that makes it so great.

A reminder, please send all *technical articles* to Steve Frost or myself to avoid burdening Duane with the editing of those submissions. Steve and I then send the final polished product to Duane to be incorporated into JibSheet.
As previously described, Steve and I are like a couple buzzards (old buzzards, now there's an image) hungering after technical content for our site. Steve and I decide where to use the technical submissions based on the topic and the size of the submitted content. Some goes to JibSheet, other stuff goes to the C36IA homepage and Technical archives, and still other to Mainsheet.
I am happy to help with any article ideas. You don't have to be a fancy writer like that guy in the photo attached. Heck, DH Lawrence didn't even own a Catalina 36. We can help you package your story idea for the web. Just remember, when you do something interesting on your boat take LOTS of photos along the way. Then we can easily wrap some text around that, and you'll have made a great contribution to our organization.
