Are any C36'ers out there lighting their boats for the holiday season? If so, please share the experience with the rest of us. It would be great if you could post a photo of your boat all dressed up for the holidays.

I will try to get some pictures of the boat this weekend. BTW...the 3 pack of lights from Home Depot/Lowes (3 strands totaling about 105 ft) is perfect for going up the forestay and down the backstay on a tall rig. About $12. Highly recommend using an additional line to attach to the halyard when it goes up.
Attached is the "fireplace" we use for additional "warmth" in the cabin. (We put it on mainly for laughs from guests, but we do catch people staring at it after a few glasses of wine…all in good fun.) I picked up this DVD for an "open boat" party before our Sailing Club holiday party a few years ago.
Happy Holidays and have a great 2010 sailing season!

With all that teak and fiberglass around, you better have another TV showing a bucket full of water, just in case.

Certainly do not want to go to bed with this unattended!
