Problems with Catalina Yachts Store?!

Here's my issue: I ordered a jacket from the Catalina Yachts online store on catalinayachts.com over 7 weeks ago and I cannot get any response from them on the status of my order which surprisingly has not arrived. Of course they don't answer the phone, and they can't seem to be bothered to reply to emails, so I was wondering if anyone else has had issues with purchasing from them. I cannot believe I am getting such horrible service from a Catalina-sponsored company. If anyone is considering a purchase from these clowns I whole-heartedly recommend against it. Thanks for letting me vent!

I ordered a bag about a month ago and it came on Saturday.

After 4 emails and 5 phone calls I finally got a reply after I threatened going to my bank. They say the "lost my order because their computers crashed." In any case, I cancelled my order. I must have the worst luck in the world when it comes to internet purchases because very few of the transactions have ever exhibited any amount of actual "customer service." Oh well, hopefully if anyone does order with them they have better luck than I did!

Back in July, I ordered a long sleeved tee shirt with my boat name on it along with a couple of other things. The other things showed up fairly promptly but no tee shirt. Saw this discussion the other day and emailed the store. Based on the discussion here, my expectations were low. I got an email back the next day saying that they had no idea what happened to my shirt but my order was being put through again and I should see the shirt in the near future.

While its too soon for the shirt to show up, I did appreciate getting the very prompt reply to my inquiry.

To close the loop, my shirt showed up about two weeks after my post on December 17th. It was exactly what I wanted.

I'm glad everything seemed to work out for everyone. Seems like I must have been an isolated incident.

I Have had nothing but good luck with the Catalina store. I ordered a couple of shirts the take Paypal now which is nice, and BAM low and behold my shirts showed up. About 2 weeks wasnt as bad as I thought.

Of course, it's been 2 1/2 years since the original post, so they've had a bit of time to ramp up their customer service. :D
