One of my many projects on our new boat is cleaning and painting.

Where would one find some of the Universal M25 engine paint?

On an M25 of your vintage, GM "Camel" engine paint is a match without going to the expense of getting Gen-u-whine Universal part numbered product.

If I could only find something similar for my M25XP-A

Are there any ideas on a cheap match for the M35B paint. I have found a silver metal flake which is pretty close but it would be nice to get something almost the same.

When I overhauled my engine, I found that Home Depot stocks a copper color Hi Temp Barbaque paint that was cheap and a great match.

You can see what it looks like if you go to the article section of this site. It was one of the first posts on the new site so you need to go to the begining.

I've had good results with Rustoleum Hammered spray paint over an automotive primer on all but the hottest parts of the engine. I pulled my heat exchanger and several other parts 3 years ago and painted them with this stuff, they look like they belong there and the paint has held up well.
