Do cell phones work at 2 harbors, Catalina?

We are planning on going to the catalina trip this July 10-12.

Since this will be my first time to Catalina Island, just wanted to know if cell phones work there.

I do not know about the cell phone coverage at Two Harbors but, I have found if you wrap the phone in aluminum foil or place it in a metal can or box it will stop working. If this does not work try going farther off shore.

Depends on the carrier. If Verizon. Yes it will work.

Last time I was in Avalon myNextel Blackberry worked. Ditto to two Harbors.

There is cell phone coverage. And there is a "hot spot" for your lap top at the Isthmus Reed Bar. They promote their Buffalo Milk but go with the spicy Bloody Mary. Have a great trip.

Well we made it to the Catalina Rendevoue and both our ATT and Verizon cell phones work as well as our Verizon internet wirerless air card.
