Are there any other C-36 on the west coast on this forum?

Are any of the owners going to the Two Harbors, Catalina Island Rendezvous July 10 09?

Hi Bob-
I'm up in San Francisco. Fairly good size group in this area.
Have fun at Catalina Island. Too far for me to go for a short trip.

About two years ago, if memory serves, a commercial freighter hit the bridge and spilled about 50,000 gallens of oil into the Bay. About 40% of the spill was cleaned up. I wonder, how is the Bay is today?

SF Bay is disgustingly polluted, filled with man eating sea lions, great white sharks, and other idiot boaters.

It is never windy, frequently cold, and everyone looks at you like you just stole their car.

Just kidding!

The bay is fine, the spill wasn't that bad and was cleaned up very quickly.

SF Bay remains one of the greatest places to sail in the U.S.

(But don't tell anyone that I told you!)

Bob:
I just moved Hilbre (2135) from Lake Mead to the Cabrillo Marina in San Pedro (31A36). There is an active C36 fleet in Long Beach mainly in the Alamitos Marina which is about 2 hours from San Pedro. You will need to look up C36 Fleet-2.

Bob,
Won't be there for the Rendezvous but will be there this weekend. I am also out of Cabrillo in San Pedro (33E36). Was there last weekend also.

Hi all,

I am located in the Channel Islands Harbor near Ventura. There is a fleet 10 in that area, and I have participated in one group trip to Santa Cruz Island.

I am looking forward to cruising Catalina this summer with my wife and two sons.

Cheers, Bill
