Forum subfolder suggestion

I would like to suggest that we set up subfolders for our forum posts. I am certainly not computor savy and do not know how much of a problem this would be.

If you now go to sections of our forum such as Technical Discussion, you can find mulitple posts about the same subject, ie: props, engine, batteries, ect. Searching for info on these items is cumbersom as you need to be quite specific in your search.

I would think it more practicle to set up sub folders such as: Propulsion (engine, propeller and drive train) electric distribution, electronics, structures (hull), rigging/sails, etc. This may make it easier to find a subject to continue rather than starting a new thread each time someone has a new thought. I would also think this would make and locating topics easier.

My tendency is to classify data more than the average person and I agree your suggestion could be a good one. I think it will offer more utility ONLY if forum users maintain the discipline to propery categorize their topics AND if threads don't meander off topic. Frankly, just owing to human nature, I doubt the those conditions will be met.
